Presentation.
My idea is going to be repesented to a worker at SBTV after we have filled in all the positions we will need. This is so that we can get them to help with production. The more experienced our workers the better our final will be. Before doing this I need to pitch my idea and presentation to a group of people in my target audience.
My results were very positive however i did have a little bit of disagreement with the idea of including celebrities. Some said that it would make it unrealistic but some said it might be more appealing to watch. All of my auidence were between 18-21 because this is the age group i could easily get to help me, they are still however part of my target audience.
They all also said that they would go to view it at the cinema and/or rent it. This is a good thing because I now know that I am hitting my target audience with their needs and wants. I also found out that they would like it to be realistic as this way it would be more dramatic.
I didn't like presenting my idea because I'm not very good with talking infront of people so i tried to choose people that i dont mind doing it infront of. This was good because they were all happy to help me aswell and answer my questionnaire.

After pitching my idea to some people over the age of 18 I got some very good feedback. I was going to film the presentation but when I set it up i realised that the battery was dead as I forgot to check before hand. I couldn't charge it before or reschedule the meeting so I proceeded. I do however have all the questionnaires filled out by various different people to show that I did the presentation.
My presentation was shown to Tom Daniells, Shaunice Mohammed, Ryan Halls and Daisy Ferrow.

Evaluation.
Overall i think the appeal to my target audience would be rather strong if done correctly. If it was to be done cheaply then the film might not get anyone interested. This would be bad as we then wouldn't make any money back to cover costs and eventually make a profit. I think my idea is original and maybe a bit boring but it is defiantly something people would want to watch. Some people will just want to see it for its drama but some people might be interested in the true facts about it. What actually happened in the London Riots?
Given a loan or an abersory i think this project could take off well. This is because given the right camera crew we can make something real life into a drama which is almost a documentary. If we were to do this on a very low budget then the after effects wouldn't be so great however to do it with a big film star budget it is a lot more likely to take off and do much better for itself. I wanted to make it verisimilitude (real to life) because I like the idea of making money back on something that a lot of money was lost from. I also think this film would be good for the economy.
As an individual i think i worked very well by myself, got into the project and didn't need anyone else's help. I think this is because i know a lot about the riots and i experienced them through the tele and social networking. Not only this but i was interested in finding out more. I also believe other people of a similar age would be interested in the same thing.
I found thinking up the storylines was fun as I could be creative with the characters and what was going to happen. I did want to keep it realistic but also dramatic to watch so over exaggerated a what could be real life story. I liked the idea of having lots of different stories which linked as well as you can watch the film come together and make sense. This also may be appealing to others my age and above.

In conclusion i enjoyed doing this project as i could be inventive and creative allowing me to do what i liked with characters, speech and storyboarding.
